  • Do I need a referral?
    You do not need a referral to be seen or treated by a Chiropractor or massage therapist. However if you are under and Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC) from the GP you will need to let our amazing front desk team know and we can submit the paperwork on your behalf through our hicaps facility
  • Is it safe?
    Chiropractors are registered by the Chiropractic Board of Australia and like all other registered health care providers, must adhere to National Law and profession specific codes of conduct and guidelines. Chiropractic has an excellent safety record in its 100 year history, and has been declared "remarkably safe" by a New Zealand government study. In relation to the treatment of neck and back pain, studies have shown that a course of chiropractic care was 250 times safer than a course of anti-inflammatory drugs (Dabbs,V., & Lauretti,W.J. (1995)
  • Can I claim any of this on insurance?
    Absolutely! If you have extras cover with your private health insurance you should be covered. You can claim on the day through our hicaps machine. We also treat people under workers' compensation and motor vehicle claims. Please make sure you have all the relevant paper work to start your claim with us. Unsure if you have all of that in order?   • Can I claim these treatments through Medicare?
    Only in certain cases. For those with chronic illnesses special management plans can be put in place by your GP that may allow you to claim some of your treatments through Medicare. For example most diabetics can qualify for an annual diabetic foot check from their podiatrist. If you are uncertain if you meet the criteria please speak to our friendly front desk staff or your GP who can help you understand more about this.
